This couples session at the Bonneville Salt Flats in Utah was a dream come true! I connected with Rachel over Instagram when I was on the hunt for a couple to do a session with me while I was in Utah.

Rachel says her first date with Colby lasted two weeks and they’ve been joined at the hip ever since! When they started dating, they both felt like they had known each other forever. During the session, the chemistry between Rachel and Colby was so clear! They easily went from laughing and joking with each other, into quiet, intimate moments. These two were amazing to work with!
Also, aren’t their outfits the best?! The clean setting of the Salt Flats really allowed their outfits to stand out. Rachel’s red dress was the perfect choice to go with Colby’s white shirt and black jeans. We had a slight breeze which added some movement to her flowy dress and hair for the photos. Their second outfits were my favorite with Colby in all black next to Rachel in all white! You can never go wrong with neutral colors when it comes to photo session looks.
About Couples Photos at Bonneville Salt Flats
The Bonneville Salt Flats are in Northwest Utah and are about an hour and a half drive from Salt Lake City. Like it looks in the photos, the Salt Flats are thousands of acres of land covered with a hard, salty crust. Sunset at the Salt Flats is always beautiful too with the mountains in the distant background. It’s a special place you must see if you’re ever in Utah!
