Wedding at The Millennium Center in Winston-Salem NC
Anna and Samir’s fall wedding at the Millennium Center in Winston-Salem was an all-around gorgeous wedding day! They had an indoor ceremony and reception at the Millennium Center, and we went downtown for wedding party photos and couple portraits!

There were several pieces of their wedding day that Anna and Samir spent a lot of time personalizing. For example, Anna and Samir built their wedding arch together as their last big wedding project! Their reception centerpieces were made up of pieces from Anna’s grandparent's houses so it was super special to have those reminders there.
Another one of Anna’s favorite details was their vows. They seemed traditional, but Anna and Samir tweaked the wording so it would fit them and what they wanted to promise to each other. They even have matching tattoos from their vows that say, “For they live as you do.” For their ceremony, they basically rewrote a traditional Catholic ceremony and put in family readings instead of religious ones. Seeing their ceremony come together was one of Anna and Sam’s favorite parts of the day!
Wedding Advice from the Couple
Looking back on their wedding day Anna and Samir’s biggest advice to other couples is, “This is your wedding. Find ways to put yourself into it, whether that be your vows or decorations, put a piece of you into the wedding. It makes a difference when you see it all come together.”
I loved getting to know Anna and Samir throughout their wedding journey and am so thankful to have been a part of their wedding day! Fun Fact: A reel/TikTok I created about a bridesmaid's speech prop from their wedding day got reshared by Betches Brides, The Knot, and several smaller accounts.
